Green fennel is a hardy herbaceous perennial plant with aromatic green foliage soft, fibre-like leaves widely used in a variety of dishes and cuisines. It grows up to 1.8m in height and thrives best in a full sun positions in a well-drained rich in organic matter soil. Fennel flowers emerge in summer in white to yellow colour small umbels and is also bee friendly.

When grown in containers we recommend a good quality multipurpose compost is used. Plants should be fed during the growing season with a liquid feed as per the manufacturers instructions.
