Monarda Balmy Lilac is a beautiful perennial plant that is known for its bright lilac flowers. The flowers are about 1-2 inches in diameter and bloom from late spring to early autumn. The leaves are dark green and have a minty scent. It is a relatively easy plant to grow. It prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained, humus-rich soil. It is drought-tolerant once established, but does appreciate regular watering during hot, dry weather.
