Lobelia siphilitica, also known as great blue lobelia, blue cardinal flower, or wild blue lobelia, is a herbaceous perennial plant that grows to about 3-4 feet tall and wide. It has lance-shaped, green leaves and spikes of blue flowers that bloom in late summer and early fall. The flowers are fragrant and attract bees and butterflies.

Planting : When planting herbaceous perennials in the open ground we recommend planting with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality tree and shrub compost or peat free compost. If planting in a container we recommend a good quality multi purpose with added John Innes or peat free compost.
