Penstemon Polaris Purple is a stunning perennial with the typical dark green lanced shaped leaves. The flowers are purple and tubular, and they are borne in spikes on tall stems. The flowers are about 1-2 inches long and have a sweet, honey-like fragrance and are bourne from late spring to early autumn.

• It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It is drought-tolerant and deer-resistant.

Grows to : 100cm x 90cm
Planting: When planting this plant in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality Tree and Shrub Compost. If planting in a container then we recommend John Innes No3 Compost or a good quality Multipurpose compost. These plants should be fed in Spring and late Summer with a good quality granular fertiliser.
