A low growing bulb with delicate nodding heads of deep purple edged with gold. Best in a sunny position in a well drained soil.

As a guide this plant can grow to about 10cm tall.

Here at Polhill we recommend that you use a good quality compost mixed with your garden soil when planting in the ground. If going into containers then a good multipurpose compost or John Innes compost is recommended
