This is an upright, dense, evergreen shrub bearing ovate, glossy, mid-green leaves, in spring or summer, small panicles of creamy-white flowers, occasionally followed by small black fruit. Can be trimmed to maintain shape. Best grown in sun or partial shade in a moist yet well drained soil.

• When planting this shrub in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality Tree and Shrub Compost. If suitable for containers then we recommend John Innes No3 Compost or a good quality Multipurpose compost. These plants should be fed in Spring and late Summer with a good quality granular fertiliser.
