Rhododendron catawbense Grandiflorum

An old classic variety with long lasting, attractive lavender-purple flowers with cinnamon speckles on the upper petals that gradually fade to a light purple. A vigorous and very hardy variety with a dense growing habit making it a good choice for a large woodland garden or informal hedging and screening.
