Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Bannow Bay’ is a variety of Pittosporum tenuifolium, an evergreen shrub native to New Zealand. It is known for its glossy, dark green leaves and fragrant, yellow flowers. The flowers bloom in spring and summer, and are followed by small, black fruits. Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Bannow Bay’ is a slow-growing plant, and can reach a height of 10 feet and a width of 6 feet but can be kept smaller with regular pruning.

Planting : When planting in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality tree and shrub compost.If planting in a container we recommend a good quality multi purpose compost with added John Innesto be used. These plants should be fed in spring and late summerwith a good quality fertiliser.
