Pilea microphylla is a small, spreading plant from the nettle family (without the sting!). It has soft, light green stems and tiny, unevenly shaped leaves that grow in pairs. The leaves are spoon-shaped, tapering to a point, and only about 9mm long. Its tiny green flowers are known for shooting out pollen, hence the name artillery plant.
How to care for your Pilea –
Water:If possible water from the bottom, using a saucer, once a week, and mistover the leaves every few days.
Light:They enjoy bright but indirect sunlight.
Humidity:Regular humidity levels are sufficient.
Temperature:Theyenjoy warmth, about 20 degrees C.
