Straight out of the rugged, arid landscapes of South Africa (Eastern, Northern, and Western Cape), where it thrives in rocky terrain and knows how to handle a bit of drought.
This tough little succulent stores water in its leaves, so it doesnt need much from you! Water only when the soil is completely dryusually every 1 to 2 weeks in the growing season. Cut back in winter to avoid soggy roots (theyre its worst enemy!).
Loves bright, indirect lighta sunny south- or west-facing window is ideal. A little direct sun is fine, but too much can lead to crispy, sunburnt leaves.
No need for extra humidity here! Aloe humilis thrives in typical indoor conditions. Just make sure there’s good airflow to prevent any pesky fungal issues.
Keep it cozy between 18C and 24C. Avoid chilly drafts and keep it away from spots where temps drop below 10Cthis one likes it warm!
