Mitsuba – Japanese Parsley | Cryptotaenia japonica. The leaves are similar of those of the flat leaf parsley but the flavour is more a combination of celery and parsley. Originally found growing wild in Japanese hills thus the name Japanese Parsley. Best grown in a shady spot. Use raw leaves in salads or add stems and leaves to stir fries and other Oriental dishes. Contains beta-carotene and vitamin C.
