Distinctive form and structure characterize this Brazilian species. The softly textured, oblong leaves are highly defined with radiating emerald-green veins against a deep green background. The backs of the leaves are red. This modest grower reaches a height of 12 to 16″ with white flowers appearing summer through fall.
