Grown for its stunning foliage, this rare Celebes Pepper has mottled silver, pink and green leaves. Although a slow grower, it makes an amazing hanging basket plant as it can be encouraged to wrap around itself so the showy purplish-red undersides can be seen. Grow in an east or west window and provide support for the vine to climb on and youll be rewarded with its great beauty. Also known as Piper ornatum, Celebes Pepper is sought-out by many plant collectors.

Special Note: Special Note: Piper plants naturally excrete small, round grains, or growth sugars, on the undersides of the leaves. While sometimes confused for insect eggs or a sign of disease, these sugar grains are actually a sign of normal, healthy growth, and are nothing to be worried about.
