Coffee Mocha is an Arabica variety originating from Yemen where in the early coffee trade it was exported from the port of Mocha. The bean is smaller than the standard Arabica coffee bean, yet its considered high quality for its rich flavor. The tree is unique with small narrow leaves and when young, it has a loose and open habit. As it matures. it fills in and creates a dense, bushy plant. Coffee Mocha is the varietal name and should not be confused with Mocha coffee thats prepared from mixing coffee and chocolate together.
