Despite the name, these striking blooms are not blue at all! This type is a tender corn lily from Africa. Tall spikes of star-shaped white flowers with deep purple centers ascend in early summer. Excellent long-lasting cut flower.

Prefers to grow in full sun, well-drained soil, and to be dry while dormant.
