Delicate, orchid-like blossoms of the prettiest, palest yellow top stalks with wide, green, lanceolate leaves. Happy in a rich, moist, woodland setting or facsimile.

Roscoea prefer a springtime planting in bright shade with regular water and good drainage. In full shade, they grow taller but with weaker stems.
