From South Africa and the Amaryllidaceae family, a burst of scarlet, wide open trumpet flowers blare beautifully above strappy evergreen foliage; up to 36″ tall and 24″ wide. Cyrtanthus is fine in a pot for a very long time. Give it plenty of summer water since it comes from the rainy Cape Province of South Africa.
