A Celestial Dreams Gardens introduction. Medium green stems & leaves resembling a dwarf corn stalk bear pure large white orchid-like flowers in mid-summer. As the flowers start to wane, they show their heritage from their purpurea relatives and develop a purple blush through the center of the flower.

Roscoea prefer a springtime planting in bright shade with regular water and good drainage. In full shade they grow taller but with weak stems.
