Two inch umbels, of golden yellow, twinkle on this small ornamental onion. ‘Jeannine’ is the 1978 selection of Antoine and Michael Hoog who discovered it while trekking through the Spanish Pyrenees. Two flowers per stalk and the rich gold of the flowers make it stand out from the typical species of greenish-yellow with only one flower per stalk.
