A gentle wipe is as refreshing for plants as it is for us. The main advantage of cleaning the leaves is you’ll free them from dust. This allows them to breathe and photosynthesise better. Dust not only blocks the pores of the leaves, but also inhibits the adsorption of light. The same applies to lime, by the way, which remains on the leaves after spraying. Ideally you should clean the leaves about every fortnight.
