Introduced by Saratoga Horticultural Foundation. Dense attractive gray-green foliage with a spreading habit under a foot tall x 6 feet wide. May be one of the fastest growing varieties of this species. Pale pink flowers appear in winter but are few and infrequent. Makes a great alternative to other groundcover manzanitas. More drought and heat tolerant than the bearberries and ‘Emerald Carpet’. Likes full sun but may enjoy a little afternoon shade in especially hot inland sites.
Mature size: 1 ft tall x 6 ft wide
Minimum Temperature: 10F
