Andreettaea trullifera is a miniature, cool to cold growing epiphyte that is native to Ecuador. It is found in wet, montane cloud forests. The plant grows with a creeping rhizome and small, erect ramicauls that each carry a single, apical, ovate leaf.

• Light:Shady conditions with indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight.
• Temperature:Cool conditions, 50-65F (10-18C) during day, 45-55F (7-13C) at night.
• Humidity:High humidity, 70-80%.
• Watering:Keep moist but not waterlogged. Use well-draining medium and allow slight drying between waterings.

• Floral Characteristics:
  This orchid produces small, single yellow-green flowers. Its most distinctive feature is the trowel-shaped lip, which gives the species its name.
