A stunning almost gothic specimen with nice contrast. Paper white, finely veined flowers, studded with black anthers, bloom against dark (almost black!) finely cut foliage May through August. Foliage emerges olive green in spring and darkens to a deep plum glowing with soft red edges in the light. Cranesbill-type budding flowerheads are fuzzy and adorable before blooming.
