Under-appreciated North American prairie offering. Delicate, light green frilly foliage with bi-colored pink and yellow sweet pea blooms in early summer. Buds are furry and the plant has a distinctly silvery appearance. Attracts butterflies and like any good legume, fixes nitrogen. Grows well in dry prairie, sandy or gravel deposits, so give it good drainage!
