A rare, shrubby, evergreen perennial with deep green serrated leaves and lavender-blue, tubular, penstemon-like flowers. Bloom starts in mid-spring, and with summer water, you can extend the bloom into summer. It will spread gradually to 5 feet wide by rooting along those side branches that come in contact with the soil.
