Racemes of pale to fuschia-blushorchid-like flowers emerge in spring to reveal a burst of color on the lower lip withmesmerizingstripes and mottling. Flowers are somewhat more relaxed on their stalks compared to the more upright forms of B. striata. Leaves are decidious and strap-like. Despite the woodland heritage of the species, ‘Sweet Lips’ can do quite well in sun withadequate water and/or a more water-retentive media.
