Sedum tetractinum ‘Little China’ is the miniature version of sedum tetractinum. With small, rubbery-textured, evergreen foliage this plant emerges green and begins to turn a russet/burgundy color in cooler months. Tiny bright yellow flowers top this groundcover in the late spring.
This short sedum gets about 2-3 inches tall with a large spread of 24-48 inches wide. Sedum ‘Little China’ likes full sun and drier, well-drained soils, but this plant will tolerate part shade and moist soils better than most other sedum! The plant is drought and heat tolerant once established in the landscape. With interesting foliage, this plant can be used in containers as a “spiller” feature or creep along rocks in a garden.
