‘Lemon Popsicle’ is a dwarf variety of Kniphofia with narrow, bright yellow flower spikes from early summer through fall. They’re highly attractive to butterflies, pollinators, and hummingbirds.

Also called “red hot poker,” ‘Lemon Popsicle’ Kniphofia is sun-loving and drought-resistant. It can handle dry, gritty, and sandy soils, but has no tolerance for wet feet. Its tough, pointed foliage is unappealing to deer and rabbits.

Plant ‘Lemon Popsicle’ red hot poker in dry, unirrigated areas where few plants will thrive, or in rock gardens to add a bit of height.
