Plant ‘Golden Feathers’ Jacob’s ladder in well-drained, moderately fertile soil. It will tolerate some morning sun, but should be shaded by the afternoon. Polemonium pulcherrimum, or “showy Jacob’s ladder,” is native to much of the western United States. ‘Golden Feathers’ is a cultivated variety of the Polemonium pulcherrimum species.
