Geum coccineum ‘Koi’ has bright red-orange blooms with shiny petals that appear for several months on compact mounds of glossy green, hairy, crinkled and scalloped foliage. Geum ‘Koi’ is a dwarf variety that is suitable for container, and the rock garden. Deadhead to keep tidy and to prolong bloom. Also called Avens or Rose of the Rockery, Geum coccineum is native to eastern Europe.

Geum ‘Koi’ prefers sun to partial shade and appreciates fertile, well-drained, evenly moist soil. It is drought tolerant once established.
