Narrow, light blue-green and stiffly hairy leaves up to 6 inches long create evergreen rosettes. Slender foot-high stems are topped by bright orange, 2+ inch diameter, four-petalled flowers.It’s easy to assume if it’s a poppy then it wants full sun…but the Hairy Poppy loves light shade in addition towell-drained soil and some summer water.
