I’m a sun lover so pop me in the brightest place possible with a good amount of direct sunshine. Shade is not really my thing.
Allow the top couple of inches of soil to dry out between waterings – why not poke your finger in to check. Water me thoroughly until you see it coming out of the bottom of my pot but don’t leave me sitting in a puddle. In the warmer months I will need more water especially when in a bright sunny spot.
Remember to wipe down my leaves with a damp clean cloth to prevent dust build up to help me breathe.
Think rainforest! Keep my leaves moist and I’ll be happy. Misting me regularly can really help air humidity and prevent the tips of my leaves drying out.
I appreciate a liquid houseplant feed once a month in spring / summer months.
Repotting for this beauty will be approximately every 2-3 years depending on how fast I’m growing.
