The striking blue-green hue and sculptural shape of the Pilosocereus azulensis make it a standout addition to any bright interior. Native to Brazil, this rare cactus brings desert charm and is surprisingly low-maintenance.
Light: This cactus thrives in bright, indirect light and can handle some direct sun, especially in the morning. A south- or west-facing window is ideal. Its not suited to low-light spaces, so be sure to place it somewhere with plenty of natural brightness.
Water: Like most cacti, the Pilosocereus azulensis prefers to dry out completely between waterings. Water thoroughly only when the soil is fully dry, which could be every 24 weeks depending on light and humidity. Overwatering is the main riskwhen in doubt, wait.
