This seldom seen Solomon’s Seal from the Himalayas has unusual slender hooks at the tip of each leaf for clinging. It can attain heights of 6 feet, looking “bambooesque!” Whorled narrow leaves on dark purple stems are dark green with a dark purple cast. And small sprays of lavender-pink bell flowers erupt from the leaf axils followed by mauve-pink berries. It is content in part sun or bright shade.
