DESCRIPTION: Juncifolia has a very grass-like appearance and has a look that is similar to juncea. These differentiate themselves from juncea because juncifolia are greener and turn a deeper red color when coming into bloom. These are an ideal plant for tall background greenery in your air plant displays.

NOTE: Juncifolia is a dry feeling air plant with a naturally brown colored base. Because of this, it is very commonly mistaken for being in bad health. Fortunately this is not the case and the plant will continue to grow healthily. There are a few species with bases like this that include juncea, juncifolia, tricolor, punctulata, and velutina.
