Tillandsia ionantha var. vanhyningii Has now been elevated to species level and so now the correct name is Tillandsia vanhyningii. First described to science in 1957 by Mulford B. Foster. This species was found growing inSumidero Canyon of Chiapas, Mexico, growing along steep limestone cliffs in large formations. This canyon has now become a Dam. Im not sure if it even exists in the wild anymore.
These are only very small plants available at the moment. 1 inch or so long.
