Cymbidium Pied Piper is a classic primary hybrid first registered in 1968 by Greenoaks, bred from Cymbidium devonianum Cymbidium canaliculatum. These plants are unflowered seedlings, expected to produce elegant arching or cascading spikes with richly coloured blooms in tones of bronze, green, and burgundy. Each seedling will be unique, combining the floriferous, pendulous habit of devonianum with the warmth tolerance and rugged charm of canaliculatum.
Only three seedlings available. These are grown from seed not mericlones and will vary in flower colour and shape. Ideal for collectors who enjoy growing rare primary hybrids to flowering size.
Background: Registered 1 January 1968 by Greenoaks. Parentage: Cymbidium devonianum Cymbidium canaliculatum. A historic cross that blends cool-growing and warm-growing species, producing robust and floriferous plants with striking colour contrast.
Unflowered seedlings each one unique. Limited batch of three only.
