Yucca rostratahas a trunk that can grow upwards of 14 feet tall, with a crown of leaves at the top. Leaves are thin, stiff, up to 2 feet long but rarely more than a half inch wide, tapering to a sharp point at the tip. The inflorescence is a large panicle 3 feet tall, with white flowers. Cold-tolerant, these plants survive in landscapes all throughout the northern United States.
