Vervain ‘Bampton’ Verbenaceae

Deep purple foliage form of Common Vervain. Upright perennial with short spikes of purple-pink flowers in mid to late summer. Loves poor soil and well-drained position. Used as a herbal tea. Named for the village of Bampton in Devon, where it was first found. Sun. Ht 80 cm. Self-seeds
