Common names: Horsehead Philodendron, Split-leaf Philodendron

The name Thaumatophyllum derives from Greek, and roughly means wondrous leaf. Its leaves can grow to over a metre in length, and as the plant matures it will develop a woody trunk to support its size. For optimum growth, place in full direct sunlight and water when the top half of the soil has dried out.
