Take pest control for your indoor plants to the next level with Diatomaceous Earth! This substance is made of crushed fossilized microorganisms called diatoms, which dries out the exoskeletons of pesky pests and essentially suffocates them.

To use, sprinkle on the surface of soil as a way to control populations of fungus gnats and other pests, and for bad infestations, add some diatomaceous earth and water to a spray bottle and spray down plants.
